Functionality : During reinstallation of oracle 11g middleware forms and reports, the installation process freezes while creating the AS instance and returns an error message �Creating AS instance failed�. To rectify this problem you need to delete the oracle process manager service by performing the steps described below:- 1. Open command prompt by typing �cmd� in run. 2. Type sc delete OracleProcessManager_asinst_1 3. Press enter 4. Restart the machine 5. Reinstall 11g middleware forms and reports
